30th Anniversary

July 1, 2021 marks 30 years of Dr. Johnson practicing in Burley, Idaho!

During June 1991, Dr. LaMar C. Nielsen’s patients received this announcement in the mail.

At the end of June, Dr. Nielsen worked his last day at 1706 Overland Avenue. And on July 1, 1991, Dr. Jared Johnson took over, ready to serve and help his new patients.

Much has changed in the last 30 years. The practice has gone from not having a copy machine to having computers in every operatory. The room where x-rays were once developed is now a cleaning supplies cupboard. Two operatories have grown into five. The old reception area is now an employee breakroom. The beloved playroom used to be an “oral hygiene instruction room.” Since 1991 Dr. Johnson has gone through five air compressors and nine dental chairs.

Dr. Johnson arrived in Burley with his wife and three young children. Now, he and Nan have eight grown children and ten grandchildren and are looking forward to meeting a new grandchild later this summer.

Though much has changed over the years, Dr. Johnson’s commitment to serving his patients and providing them with the highest quality care has never changed.
